VinoSnap ("we", "our", "us") is a wine intelligence platform operated by Heselmans Lab, Belgium. We provide AI-powered wine scanning, sommelier advice, cellar management, and community features at vinosnap.app.

2. What Data We Collect

  • Account data: email address, display name, profile photo (when you register)
  • Cellar data: wine bottle records, scan history, tasting notes you create
  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, session duration (anonymised)

  • Social data: moments and check-ins you choose to share publicly

3. How We Use Your Data

  • Providing and personalising the VinoSnap service
  • AI sommelier recommendations and wine analysis
  • Sending service-related emails (no marketing without consent)
  • Analytics to improve our platform (anonymised)

4. Google AdSense & Advertising

We use Google AdSense (Publisher ID: ca-pub-8472263159636201) to display relevant advertisements. Google may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your interests.

5. Amazon Affiliate Links

VinoSnap participates in the Amazon Associates Programme. When you click an Amazon product link on our platform and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Our affiliate tag is vinosnap-21.

9. Data Retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data is removed within 30 days except where retention is required by law.
